Dr. Thomas Lindsey, D.O., completed his Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Alabama and is board certified in both concentrations. Thomas also completed a pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative therapy, OMT, a hands-on approach to musculoskeletal disorders to correct structural imbalances, improve circulation, and relieve pain. Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy coupled with sports medicine brings a unique approach to the care of athletes and people of all ages. He will care for musculoskeletal injuries in addition to acute and chronic medical conditions to keep athletes healthy and on the field. Additionally, Thomas’ knowledge of sports nutrition can help maximize performance and prevent injuries.

Thomas is a native of Montgomery, AL graduating from Trinity Presbyterian School. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Furman University Magna Cum Laude. Thomas earned his osteopathic medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, ACOM, in Dothan, AL. While attending ACOM, he received his Master’s in Adult Education at Troy University. During residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama, Thomas has treated acute and chronic medical conditions, provided preventative care, and worked with high school and college athletes in multiple sports: football, track and field, gymnastics, basketball, baseball, softball, adaptive athletics, dance, volleyball, mixed martial arts, hockey, golf, tennis, swimming, rowing, and soccer. He enjoys fly fishing, hunting, golfing, lake life, and exercise. He is excited to bring his skills to the Montgomery area.
