Insurance Information
We specialize in the complete treatment of Workers-Compensation patients and have a specialized department dedicated to meeting the needs of the Patients, Case Managers/Case Nurses and Adjusters. The Physicians of SOS understand the requirements and special concerns of treating Workers-Compensation patients and we take pride in helping those that have suffered a job related injury. We have a dedicated full time staff that handles scheduling, obtaining pre-authorizations, sending required notes, interacting with doctors and making sure that all needs are met. Southern Orthopaedics Surgeons are members of the Alabama Self-Insurers Association (ASIA) and Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization (AWCO).

Medicaid is not accepted at this time.
Payment Options
Copays are to be paid at time of visit. Payment can be made with cash, check, money order, or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover only).
