Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons invites you to attend our upcoming Total Joint Seminar, a free educational event designed for patients who want to learn more about total hip and total knee replacement options.
The seminar will be led by Roland Hester, MD, who will provide expert insight into joint replacement surgery and answer common questions patients have when considering treatment.
What Will Be Covered
During this one-hour seminar, Dr. Hester will discuss:
- When total hip or total knee replacement may be recommended
- What to expect before, during, and after surgery
- Recovery timelines and mobility goals following joint replacement
- Advances in joint replacement technology, including MAKO robotic-assisted knee replacement, which Dr. Hester utilizes for knee replacement procedures
Attendees will also have the opportunity to view joint replacement models, allowing for a better understanding of the implants used during surgery.
Questions and Answers with the Surgeon
Following the presentation, there will be a dedicated question-and-answer session where attendees can ask Dr. Hester questions directly and receive information from the surgeon himself in an open, educational setting.
