Dr. Worley and the Master of Athletic Training at Huntingdon

Dr. Austin Worley, D.O. is Huntingdon College’s Medical Director for the new Master of Athletic Training (MAT) Program. As Medical Director for the MAT Program, Dr. Worley assists in overseeing the educational experience for the graduate students. He also serves as a clinical preceptor, provides guest lectures, and leads casting labs for the students.

Dr. Worley also serves as the team physician for Huntingdon College (among other schools) and provides special education instruction on campus weekly for the graduate students during athlete injury checks. Dr. Worley demonstrates the evaluation process and sets a treatment plan for each injured athlete. This ensures that the MAT students have a complete understanding of the treatment of athletes in all types of sports with all types of injuries. MAT Program Director Jennifer Ballard, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC shares, “Dr. Worley is such a valuable asset to our program! He has done an awesome job with helping us get our program up and running. We are extremely thankful to have him on our team.”
