Sarah Grate, EdD, OTR/L, CHT is a dedicated hand and occupational therapist with over 7 years of experience treating the upper extremity. She serves as a part-time hand therapist at Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons in Montgomery, Alabama.
Sarah holds the rare and respected distinction of being a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for over 4 years. She says that she values the one-on-one time that being a hand therapist provides her with patients and loves the creativity of the custom splinting process.
Outside of SOS, Sarah has a passion for educating future therapists and serves as full time faculty at Faulkner University. When she is not at work, you can find her enjoying life outside with her husband and their two beloved dogs.
