Chris Hoban, PA

Chris Hoban is originally from Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated from Elyria Catholic High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. He then graduated with his master’s degree from the Physician Assistant Program at Cleveland State University and Cuyahoga Community College. He became a certified PAC in September of 2010.

He and his wife Kelcey moved to Columbus, Ohio following his graduation where they lived and worked for over ten years. He was a part of the team at JIS Orthopedics in new Albany, Ohio for that duration. While there, Chris specialized in joint replacement surgery as well as joint preservation providing care both in the office and in the operating room.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, Reece and Harper. They love Alabama and do not miss the cold weather. They enjoy the short drive to the beach and are grateful to have quick access to some of the most beautiful beaches and lakes around. They love to travel and are already looking forward to their next adventure.

Chris joined the SOS team in 2021 and is excited to be teamed up with Dr. Howell to provide the community with excellent orthopedic care.
