Sandra Whaley, PT, DPT

With nearly 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, Sandra has treated diverse patient populations across orthopedic, neurological, acute care, and home health settings. Since 2008, she has specialized in pelvic floor physical therapy, helping patients address bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunctions through compassionate, individualized care.

She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University, a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from UAB, and her undergraduate degree from Troy State University. She is certified in dry needling and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including its Orthopedic and Pelvic Health sections. She is also a member of the Global Pelvic Health Alliance (GPHAM) and the International Urogynecological Association.

Beyond her clinical work, she is committed to serving her community. She is a member of the Child Protect Children’s Advocacy Center Board of Directors and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

She has been married to her husband, Aaron, for 26 years and is the proud mother of two children. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach and values spending time with family.
